I need one that allows my GC controllers to be recognized as game controllers for all programs and not just within Dolphin emulator.

I know mayflash adapter has a PC mode, but are there also drivers for Windows that supports the official adapter?

Now, with the 4.0 update natively supporting the official GC adapter, are GC controllers recognized as normal Pro controllers thru the mayflash adapter too?
Some other questions, not Wii U related but also about the adapters:īefore the 4.0 update Mayflash updated the adapter to work with the Switch, but GC controllers only worked as Pokken controllers. Will either of the adapters give GameCube controller support back to games under Wii mode(provided the games have GC controller support in the first place)? I already own a copy of SSBU so the "activation" shouldn't be an issue if needed.

I am trying to find Wii U titles that also supported the GameCube adapters. Gamecube Adapter Driver The GameCube Controller Adapter allows you to connect up to four GameCube controllers (or wireless GameCube controllers) to a Wii U system, PC USB, Switch Supports the built-in Vibration Feedback with no delays by plugging the two USB ports of the adapter into your Wii U system or PC USB connector ports. And as a disclaimer this is what worked for me, if it doesnt work for you hit me up on the oot discord and I'll see what I can do.I'm trying to find a list of games that these two adapters supported, but most of the games I see are from the Nintendont list, but I already have a modded RVL-001 Wii so I have no need for Nintendont support.
This probably won't work on MAC or Linux but hey im not a magician. Make sure all devices are connected properly (duh) Try flicking the switch on the back of the mayflash to wii u then back again to get your PC to re-initialise theĭevice (signature ping will take place when reconnected)
That the "MAYFLASH Gamecube Controller" is showing as the gamepad Make sure after the controller mapping is loaded you click the devices submenu in the configure input menu and check I mapped the L button to ENTER on the keyboard but you can change that however you want. If all was successful everything should now work. Once here click the load profile buttonĪnd load the gc profile you downloaded earlier. Now close this window and head to options again then configure the controller. The list and change your controller input plugin to what should appear as "N-Rage's Direct-Input8 V2 1.80a".ħ. From here click the plugins submenu at the bottom of Boot up pj64 1.7 and go to the options tab then hit settings. If you check in device management, on windows, under human interface devices there should be 4 HID-compliant game controllers,Ħ. Plug in the controller to the Mayflash (port 1) then the mayflash into the USB, only the black cable is required asĥ. Place the controller mapping somewhere safe, I recommend somewhere inside the pj64 folder or just create a folder somewhereģ.
Should be (PJ641.7 folder)/plugin/inputĢ. Get the Nrage plugin and place it into the pj64 input plugin directory. This controller layout (closest match to n64 I could find): ġ.
